In order to help the Republic of Moldova maintain essential services in the event of an energy crisis, Belgium donated a high-capacity generator. The Republic of Moldova had requested support through the EU civil protection mechanism and Belgium responded with the donation of a generator with a capacity of 160 KVA.
The generator was handed over to the Moldovan authorities on February 18th by the Deputy Head of Mission, Ewoud Roes, and the Belgian Honorary Consul in Moldova, Luc Engelen.
Along with the EU and other member states, Belgium supports the government of Moldova in its efforts to deal with the effects of the gas crisis.
Pentru a ajuta Republica Moldova să mențină furnizarea serviciilor esențiale în cazul unei crize energetice, Belgia a donat un generator de mare capacitate. Republica Moldova solicitase sprijin prin intermediul Mecanismului Protecției Civile al Uniunii Europene, iar Belgia a răspuns prin donarea unui generator cu o capacitate de 160 KVA.
Generatorul a fost predat autorităților moldovenești în data de 18 februarie de către Domnul Ewoud Roes, Şef Adjunct al Misiunii, și Domnul Luc Engelen, Consulul onorific al Belgiei în Republica Moldova.
Alături de Uniunea Europeană și de alte state membre, Belgia sprijină guvernul Republicii Moldova în eforturile sale de a face față efectelor crizei gazelor.
